What I Wore: The Prettiest Velvet Tops

Hello and welcome to another week, right? The temps are cooling off in Florida and I can now imagine styling cozy and luxurious fabrics, like velvet. Velvet has been around for a long time. I'm trying to picture someone from the renaissance era, parading around in their velvet dresses. How heavy they must have been, although appropriately warm in the wintertime. Of course, most velvet we purchase now isn't woven from silk, but it's cozy and luxurious just the same in my opinion.  

Camo "Odine" Tee

Now before I go and watch a period piece from the Renassaince, let's chat about these velvet tops c/o Caite & Kyla. I fell in love with the camo print and rich shades of green in the first top. I've styled it with jeans, brown corduroys, and of course today's feature, white cropped pants. The cropped pants are from XCVI and there are several color options to choose from. This whole outfit was so comfortable!

Same Tee, Different Color

I can't say enough about the gorgeous color of this tee, the "Nova". I picture wearing this dressed up with faux leather pants or leggings and heels for a holiday party. However, that hasn't happened yet so I've styled it with shorts and for lounging around the house. It's just so easy. Now while you're relaxing, don't forget cozy slippers! ;)
