What I Wore: The Chelsea Rain Boot

Jambu is representing again today with a timely pair of rain boots. Why timely? Well, they arrived the day before we had an uncharacteristically long rainy day. We get plenty of rain in Florida but it's not often that it lasts all through the day. It also happened to be a Friday, which is a casual day for us at work. Did I mention that it was picture day at work? I remembered as soon as I saw my coworkers all dressed up.  Yeah. I forgot. However, not all was lost because during the shoot I was able to hide behind the sofa and afterward the sweet photographer, Joni, snapped this photo for me...

The Boots

Jambu sent me these boots for review, however, all opinions are my own! Now let's get started from the bottom and work our way up with these boots. The soles are heavy-duty with thick traction to prevent slipping. The insoles are memory foam, which made these boots comfortable for the long day I put in. And of course, they are waterproof so I feared no puddle as I traipsed about downtown after work that day.

Playing in the Rain

I further tested these rainboots in our neighborhood when timely rain struck again. I laughed and played around while my husband snapped photos. He looked a little less enthused to be out in the rain, which you will see at the end of this post.

Hubby Is Ready To Go Home

Isn't it amazing how much better the day goes when we're prepared? Having the right clothes and/or shoes for the situation has an impact on productivity, comfort, and mood! I forgot about picture day but I had no regrets when all was said and done. I was comfortable all day and the pictures came out great. lol!
