What I Wore: Summer Dresses For Dinner Or Dessert

These last couple of weeks, the hubby and I were able to sneak away TWICE! That's unusual for our schedules but sometimes event "cards" fall as they may. These little getaways inspired this post because one was out for a full course meal, while the other was a short escape for dessert. I wore dresses to both outings, as is fitting for the Florida heat.

I shopped my closet for the dresses but linked up the shoes I know you'll love, as well as the accessories that represent small businesses or companies that are out to make a change in the world. In addition, I hope you'll be inspired to get out and get some time with someone special.

Look Two & Dessert

Look two was worn during our Key West vacation to the Key Lime Pie Factory a couple weeks ago. This dress by Caite & Kyla is one of my favorites. Aside from the gorgeous summery print, you can nap in it and it still looks great. That also came in handy for travel with no wrinkle worries. I'm also sporting one of my most complimented summer sandals by Secret Celebrity. The yellow is summer fun, but I've also been eyeing the turquoise pair they have!

Put the Blond Giraffe, Key Lime Pie factory, on your list if you're passing through Key Largo. Not only is the Key Lime Pie delicious, but the garden out back is charming and quaint.

Dresses continue to be such easy summer-style options.
Don't be afraid to try shoes from an online store. Companies such as the Enjoiya group are teaching me that there's quality and unique styles are a few clicks away.
For quick packing for trips, grab a dress with multiple colors and then reach for accessories that will pull out one or more of those colors.
Neutral-colored sandals look amazing with a white dress!
