Hello, beauties! Are you ready for spring? Of course, the fashion industry has been ready with its 2021 spring line since the spring of 2020. Once a line is released the design process for the next year begins! Sounds like a risky gamble at times, but I bet that's part of the adventure. And it's an adventure for me to see what those familiar brands add and change. Last week I shared a design upgrade by Jambu with the "Erin Too", but today's post is a newly designed, water-ready sandal c/o Jambu.
Meet Barb On The Sidewalk
This effortless look is easily pulled together with a favorite sweatshirt, an old pair of distressed denim, and some statement earrings! The pink and beige, strappy slide-on sandals are cushion supported, hugging your feet as you walk. I love that they are both sporty and elevated for a playful, stylish vibe. And whether you're out in rain or shine or in my case going from the sidewalk to the sand, these sandals manage fabulously!
Taking Barb on The Sand
I was on the hunt for some versatile spring/summer sandals that could get wet but not be flipflops. I'd say I found a winner and look forward to more style options in these! If you're on the hunt for comfy, water-ready sandals, here's my code for 20% off!

Style Takeaway
Though I'd wear my distressed denim about anywhere, there's no more fitting place than a beach town. So if you're hesitant to sport this style, or if you have a pair tucked away because you feel like they're going out of style, pack them for the beach!
21-Day Food Challenge Update
I did it, my friends! This week I made it 21 days to cleaner eating. Here are a few benefits I already see:
- My pants fit better. Maybe that's why I broke out the jeans - ha!
- I'm 3 pounds lighter.
- I don't feel bloated.
- I realized I need less food than I think throughout the day.
- I snack less.
- I am back into the habit of food prep, which is essential to choose healthy options.
- I'm a label reader again steering clear of vegetable oil, canola oil, soybean oil, palm oil etc, "natural" flavors, etc!
- My whole outlook on what I take in and what I put on is renewed.
So, where to from here? Well, I can improve on daily water intake, be more consistent with the 10 minute daily HIIT workouts, and keep on learning! I'm also going to work with more companies that love clean living and have a passion to help others. Of course, I'll share as I go!
P. S. If you are looking for a reboot, the Dr. Livingood Challenge is simple and easy to follow!
I love those sandals and I am so jealous you got out on the beach!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, has it been 21 days already?! I need to message you so we can set up another coffee chat! I am so sorry I went missing these past 2 weeks! But I have stuck with my daily yoga and 10 minute HIIT workouts and have kept to my mostly cleaner eating for the 21 days (except for all the retirement cakes and things)! This outfit is adorable and so very you! I love the super distressed denim and your cue sweatshirt. These new Jambu sandals are so good with this look, too. I bet they will be wicked cute with sundresses and maxi skirts, too!

ReplyDeleteYou are the CUTEST! love those sandals!
ReplyDeleteI am taking advantage of lent to reset a little as we do not eat dairy nor meat during that time. I am hoping to do more whole foods for snacks and drink more. And I love your style! I wish I was as cool as you, lol!

Take me to that beach now please haha. Love your cute outfit and YAY about the 21-day food challenge! A few weeks ago I started eating a plant-diet during the week and amping up my Daily Burn workouts and it has started to make a difference. I just started incorporating that diet on one weekend day too. I could talk about this stuff for hours haha. Anyway! Thanks for sharing and have a great day! XO, Caroline
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan Chrissy! My hubby and I use Blue Apron's meal prep and make them Sundays for the week. Best wishes there! Those sandals look perfect for the beach and nice with your jeans! You know I am a Jambu fan :-)

Away From The Blue
My dream is to go from sidewalk to sand!!! Love all these pics- such a natural gorgeous lady xx
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love the whole outfit! That sweatshirt is the cutest! And goes perfect with those shoes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Barb can go anywhere with style! Cute shoes and so useful in your active lifestyle - much better than flip flops at the beach. Jambu does it again!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing your 21 days!

These sandals are SO cute and I just love them with the sweatshirt. They really pop against the colors in the design on it. I decided to switch to clean eating and mostly vegetarian last year this time and boy was it a process, but when I got my bloodwork back at the DR yesterday I couldn't believe how good it was... it was insane. Our bodies really do thrive on clean food and what is in the earth!
