Hello and welcome back to another fashion feature. Though many weeks I'm on fashion auto-pilot, every once in a while I steal a moment to enjoy my closet. I know for some, shopping for clothes or getting dressed is a chore and I get it! That's one of the reasons I blog. Once upon a time, I had a small closet full of poor choices and no fashion confidence.
Today I still have a small closet, but I make better shopping choices and I've learned to enjoy making the most of what I have. That's why today I'm sharing a shirt dress restyle, my latest "closet" addition, and of course the Blogger Six link up.

A Shirt Dress Restyled
For reference, this shirt dress from Altar'd State was a Christmas gift two Christmases ago. I love the simplicity of it, however, I don't wear often because of the length.
Over Jeans & A Tank
This is my featured outfit of the day, but I'm sharing two other looks for kicks as well! Throwing the button-up dress over a tank and jeans is simple, classic, and easy. It's also another way to transition the dress to fall. Once you've worn the dress with tights, a layering piece, and your favorite dress, there's no reason to set the dress aside, right?
The New Addition!Over the summer, I began working with
Luca Love Bracelets. I wear those bracelets so much, I decided to continue working with the brand. In addition to pieces I love, the women I've "met" there are sweet, caring, creative, and fun. For me, it's more than the product! They also add beautiful, personal touches to their packages. I'm a sucker for it, so I'm back with a new piece - a
choker that is adjustable! My discount code is: GRANOLANGRACEF20 for 20% off your total purchase! Did I mention that the necklace is only $18?!
Shirt Dress With A SkirtBecause, why not? I kept the same tank, but switched out the jeans for a skirt and the slides for leopard print ankle straps.
Shirt Dress Over A DressThis is fun to me, simply because I get a kick out of wearing two dresses! I've styled this dress with an olive-colored utility jacket so this was an easy restyle.
What do you think? Would you try any of these looks, if you haven't already?

Chrissy, this is brilliant styling! I love wearing shirt dresses open this way and layering them. All three outfits are so great! I would have never thought to layer the shirt dress over another dress though. It is magnificent!

So cute! I think I like it over the short dress best.
ReplyDeleteSuch a smart way to re-style a button down dress! I absolutely love it. The first outfit is my favorite and perfect for the transition from summer to fall.
