Hello, my dears! How are you this week? By the end of summer, I think it's fun to go back and see all the documented outfits I styled with the classic, closet staple: the jean jacket! And how far the denim jacket has come, right? Now we have them in various lengths, washes, dyes, cuts, etc! However, I must admit that somehow I'm down to only one - ha! Whatever is the matter with me? Perhaps I can speak to the minimalists out there? That being said, feel confident that this post will be short, sweet, and simple. Also, I had some unexpected events over the last week. I've shared in detail on Instagram stories, but if you are curious you can still listen in on Highlights.

Yes, I'll take this dress, that tee, and of course the jacket, please! Nothing to link here, but hopefully, there's a dress in your closet waiting to be styled in this fun way. It's surprisingly comfortable!

Look at this, I'm bringing back the first featured dress from Caite and Kyla, grabbing wedges, a cute tote bag, and of course that jacket!
Lucky Brand Dres, Fab Sandals & JacketThis dress was a clearance find on the Blogger Six trip to Austin so it holds a special place in my heart. I don't think I would have purchased it if it weren't for their promptings!
Comfy Pants, A Fitted Top & That Jacket Oh, how I enjoyed collaborating with XCVI last winter. Their clothes are made with fabulous quality and they're comfortable, yet stylish! I picked these pants, which of course will be perfect for fall!
Denim on Denim
I think we have to try denim on denim at least once a year. Why not? Aside from the wedge sneakers, this look was 100% shopped from my closet!
Camo, Floral & That Jacket ;)
Today's last look was styled with two MORE clearance finds from the Austin trip last year. How funny! I enjoyed mixing the floral with the camo and then adding the red pumps to finish off the look!
Denim jackets are a fabulous completer piece and they can be utilized all year long. So maybe I should invest in another? Wink, wink. How many denim jackets do you own?

ReplyDeleteChrissy, this is so great! I love jean jackets especially with dresses and other outfits that seem a bit dressier than a jean jacket calls for. That contradiction of feminine with a denim jacket is always so great! I keep trying the tee shirt over a dress idea and I cannot get it to work on me. I don't know if I am trying the wrong dresses or the wrong tees! Or maybe it just isn't something that will work on me. Anyway, great outfits! All of them!
