I have big plans for this skirt beginning with print mixing fun!
Floral & Plaid
This skirt feels like a classic and the striped band around the waist adds more styling adventures, especially for this old floral top. The skirt is a statement on its own so I didn't feel the need to over accessories. That doesn't mean I wasn't tempted to add a hat! Maybe next time.
Stripes & Plaid
For the second look, my latest oxford makes a comeback. Adding pops of red seemed like a natural choice with B&W plaid. What do you think?

I love, love, love this skirt! Talbots can be very hit or miss. I'm so glad you found this. I'm loving it with the first top and, Yes, add a hat! hugs!
ReplyDeleteI have only wandered into a Talbots once. Loved much of what I saw but couldn't afford the price tags!! That skirt is just adorable. I am really liking the tiered skirts that are popular this spring and summer. And the Buffalo plaid is such a fun alternative to gingham. Speaking of which, I have a gingham skirt I need to wear!! Love how you did the pattern mixing with your plaid.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun pattern mixing! I love the first outfit; it's always so exciting to unexpectedly find something you love, like your cute buffalo check skirt. I love that pattern!
