Hello! Do recognize a pattern with my Style Six Fashion posts? Coincidentally, I'm featuring "3 Ways To Wear..." every other week. Do you enjoy this or should I stick to one look per post? I'd love to hear your thoughts. ;) In the meantime, today's post features three looks with a camo and floral mix. One look I've featured before, but since it inspired my second look I decided to share it again.
When I purchased these pieces off the clearance rack at a Lucky store in Austin, I wasn't thinking instant outfit. However, once I tried them on together I realized how lucky these finds were. See what I did there? Wink. Wink. Anyway, the top and bottoms are still available in a few sizes and are linked below. As for the rest of the items, I've linked up similar pieces because I happily shopped my closet!
That's the whole idea isn't it? Most of us don't have the means to shop for a whole outfit from head to toe. That's where either careful closet planning comes in, or fashion adventures (for the unplanned types - aka me).
Alright, let's talk about these looks.
Look One: Boho Flair
This was as easy as a cuff bracelet by Victoria Emerson, a kimono, coordinating shoes and a hat! I almost ditched this kimono a month ago. I wasn't wearing it, but while wearing this top and pant combo I noticed the colors were the same! Guess I'll be holding onto it longer.
Fashion Takeaway: When adding to a print mix, go for neutrals but don't be afraid to add texture. The shoes were the same shade of green, but the lace up design added interest without overpowering. I think the same applies to the kimono. Same khaki color in the pants, but the fringe tassels add boho fun. As for the hat, why not pull out a color from my floral mix?
Look 2: Denim Fun
I wore this easy change up to church last Sunday. The red pumps dressed up the look while the denim jacket warded off the air conditioning chill. #Florida
Fashion Takeaway: Is there anything that a denim jacket won't work with?? Also, try on different denim washes and fits. In this case, I preferred a darker wash with the camo pants.
Look 3: Casual Ease
Here's the original look I wore while touring Austin with the Shelly from The Queen In Between. She kindly took these photos for me. Comfy sneakers and a neutral crossbody was all that was required for this warm day. Spring is coming my friends. Get ready!
Fashion Takeaway: Owning a red pair of comfy sneaks added a lot of versatility to my comfortable, but CUTE options.
Alright my friends, do you have some camo and floral waiting to be paired together? I hope so! Now let's get to the link up...

Camo pants are real fun. You can dress them up with heels or down with sneakers or combat boots. They are so versatile. I just got two new pairs, one in Arctic camouflage and one in khaki.
ReplyDeleteI just love how you've mixed these prints Chrissy!!!
