The same goes with our crazy schedule! We added another co-op to our homeschool routine, which the boys love. However, that's another day away from home with more work to be done during the week. Thankfully, we've found our groove, as long as we stick to the routine. Or more importantly, the lessons are laid out before they're up the next day. (There's so much to be said about being prepared!) All this to say, I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate peaceful, quiet moments because of all this crazy!
Alright, enough about schedules, let's get to fashion! I'm not sure if you caught my play on words earlier, but today's outfit feature is the lovely olive, trench cardigan discovered from the clearance racks Lucky.
With birthday money from last month in hand, I purchased a few pieces I thought would work for fall, in spite of warm temps. This trench is a favorite from those finds because of it's versatility. They have one left online for around $30!
The rest of my outfit is shopped from my closet from hat to purse!
Ok friends, before I go I thought I'd share a picture of the incredibly large avocados someone shared with us! I can't wait til they're ready for consumption!

Thank you Kellyann. And I know, those avocados are crazy!! 7-10 days feels so long to wait for!
DeleteI hear you on the struggle to with fashion vs. heat! September is hot here but my summer outfit motivation is all but gone at this point. Regardless, you look fab! The colors in this look are fantastic...love the berry red + olive combo.

Thank you so much. Some days I have to let the blog go, but I've learned to be ok with that. Priorities, right??

Jodie
I'm the same way Jodie. I feel like I'm gliding around. :)
DeleteThose avocados tho...holy huge!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love that long olive cardigan. You styled it up so perfectly! And yes please to that huge avocado! It's so hard waiting for them to ripen!
ReplyDeleteThank you Heather! And I know. Of course they all ripened at the same time so I had to chop them up and freeze them. So far so good!
DeleteI find laying out our schoolwork the night before (or early in the morning before the boys head downstairs) help keep up on track too... though we haven't started our school year yet!
ReplyDeleteHow old are your boys and when do you start school??
DeleteI can't think about the fashion with those huge avocados you shared. Holy guacamole!!!!😉
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Very cute, you Lucky Brand store stalker! I'm loving the texture details with the camo hatband and handbag. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I know. They recognize me now and remember what I tried on - scary, right??
DeleteIt's hard to get used to a new schedule in the fall and I'm glad you found your groove! I love your olive trench cardigan! This is such a cute look! And that camo band on your hat is such a fun detail!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
THATS an avocado??? I thought it was some sort of melon & had to see if I read that right :) LOL
ReplyDeleteWow that avacado looks amazing! I'd be making nachos and tacos all week long with some guac!

Such a great fall look! Love the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteYou may be battling but boy, ya sure look good doing it!! It has been too hot to embrace fall clothing here, too. I am sneaking in a cardi where I can. But smothering most days when I do. Surely fall is around the corner.
ReplyDeleteYay for new co-ops and adjustments to make them work. I know your kids appreciate your homeschooling efforts and are getting a superior education for them.
Sure hope those avocados ripen in a hurry and are as delicious as they are enormous.
You are so sweet Leslie! Thank you. Some day they appreciate the homeschooling. One wants me to enroll him in school. We shall see.. as for those avocados, they did ripen, all at the same time. I had to cut them up and freeze them. Hopefully they will be good for salads and dropping them in salsa!
DeleteWhat a fun look Grace! Love the color of this cardigan and it's perfect for the transitional weather we are having right now. It's still in the 90s for us so I will live vicariously through you! That avocado is huge and I have never seen one like it! That's so crazy! I hope you had a great weekend and happy Monday!

Lots of gaucamole you can make, woah! Love the red floral with the longer duster, you look great! You look wonderful in hats too. I am tired of the heat here in the Carolinas, so sometimes I just rebel, just ready for cool weather.
