I won't claim to be an essential oil master, but I've certainly learned a few things over the course of a year. There's even a drawer dedicated to my acquired oils and supplies! I'm so proud of it! My oils are organized in alphabetical order, the blends categorized separately. There's a basket for all those recipes, small containers from the dollar store for tins, rollers and molds. (If you're a recipient of these boxes, reuse them to organize your oils in a drawer!)
This company is committed to quality and is passionate about helping others maintain a more natural home. Hop on over HERE to read more about their EO process. The concept of a subscription, recipe box is unique to them and works great for the amateur, as well as the EO novice! See the end of this post for a fabulous CODE to get you started on the EO journey.
Alright let's get to this month's subscription recipe box!
The September Box - What's In it?
Once again, the box contained bright recipe cards, sleek labels, 4 EO's and two bonus items! This month follows last month's theme on skincare, though there's no need to have the previous month to enjoy these recipes!
Four Bottle of Essential Oils
Cajeput - has a fresh fruity aroma, relieves congestion, minor pain, inflammation and muscles spasms
Lemongrass - great for acne and oily skin, reduce fevers, remove airborne odors (litter box anyone??)
Bay - gas relief, pain relief, reducing fever, etc
Happy Joy EO Blend - made up of Geranium, Sweet Orange, Grapefruit, and Ylang, Ylang. It helps to relieve stress and promotes feelings of joy and happiness.
Bonus Items
Aloe Glycerine Soap Base
Soap Mold
Decorative & Organizational Labels
6 Recipe Cards:
1. Happy Joy Roll On
2. Happy Joy Facial Soap
3. Flowers, Spice and Something Nice Soap
4. Sugar Scrub Bar
Scrub and lather in the shower! Can't wait!!
5. Lemongrass, Cajeput and Bay Compress
If used cold this compress can relieve varicose veins and pain due to inflammation. Unfortunately, I'm a great guinea pig for this one, as my legs are full of varicose veins. I'll let you know if this helps! Warm suggestions are for cramps, fever and congestion!
6. Flowers & Spice Diffuser BlendThis month's diffuser blend uses all those oils and it smells fabulous! In fact, the delicious aroma is tantalizing my senses as I type. I want to take that Happy Joy blend everywhere I go. Car diffuser? Yes! I'll be making a master blend bottle of this mix up for sure. Great job Simply Earth!
Again, I love the heart of this company (13% of profits goes to organizations that fight against sex trafficking) and their mission to educate and provide supplies for a more natural home.
Now here's that code I mentioned: Use code GRANOLAANDGRACEFREE with a subscription purchase at Simply Earth for a FREE initial bonus box AND a $40 gift card towards anything in their shop...more oils, a storage box, a diffuser, jewelry, etc! Subscription boxes with 4 full-sized bottles of EOs, bonus items, stickers and recipes are $39 a month and can be paused or canceled at any time!
September was such a fun box! I loved making soaps! I'm so glad you shared how you organize your oils and supplies! Mine are scattered in several drawers and cabinets and I need a dedicated space!

I love my oil drawer! I honestly wouldn't use them without this!
DeleteI seriously need more essential oils in my life! I must look into this service, but first I need to make more money on this writing business of mine! But when I do, essential oils coming to my doorstep monthly sounds like a fantastic idea!

Haha! I can completely relate to the need to make more money before moving on to the next step. I feel like our spending has increased tremendously since moving to Florida. That's on my to do list - a revised budget!!
