Outfit 1: Boyfriend Jeans & Fedoras
With the exception of my boyfriend jeans and Target slides, I shopped my closet for this look. You've seen the hat many times, but I rarely wear this vest. Thank you Target slides. ;) The bag was a gift from a friend, as was the scarf that I tied around my waist.
We took these pictures while running errands and the high school stop was the trickiest spot to get pictures on the sly. But we prevailed!
"Hurry, take the pic!!"
Outfit 2 - Pattern Mixing & Pull On Shorts
Man, oh, man, I want to love pull how I look in pull on shorts! I tuck my shirt in, something doesn't look right. I pull it out and I look downright slovenly. In a last ditch effort I tied a not in the hem of my shirt and think I'm on to something. From there I grab these slides, add an old denim jacket and accessorize with the beaded necklace from The Knotty Tassel

Those Jenny slides are super cute and were obviously meant to be for you my sweet friend! Did you check the number on the box? Was it by any chance 8675309? You may be too young to get that reference but I hope not. I crack myself up!

ReplyDeleteI'm wearing those jeans right now! <3. I love, love the top look with the vest and hats, perfection, my friend. I've been on the fence about getting a denim vest--you may have just pushed me over! When you asked on your insta story about elastic waist shorts, I voted "no", but I'd love to have a pair for wearing at home in the evening, for sure. Haha, don't get yourself in trouble for horsing around at the HS, not a good example for the kids! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteTarget has some of the most darling slides right now - I just featured a pair in my latest post too. It must have been destiny for them to be there when they were because they look fab on you....and I love the outfits, too! I totally agree about what to do with a shirt when you're wearing pull-on shorts. That waistband just isn't conducive to tucking and wearing bigger shirts out does look a little sloppy. I usually just go with a more form-fitting shirt but I love your solution!
