A Fashion Favorite - The Jumpsuit
"You're invited to a Media and Influencer Event for Bavaro's Restaurant." What?! I didn't hesitate, if the dates aligned I was going! Thankfully, the day was clear but as the event drew near my calendar continued to fill up. Before I knew it, Tuesday arrived and I was loading my younger boys into the car to hit Target. I had nothing to wear! With encouragement from sweet blogger friends I hunted for a jumpsuit.
How many did I try on? I lost count, but I finally landed on this one by Wild Fable. As for the event, I'll share more on that soon. Until then, here's my suited for date night, garden tea party, bridal showers, brunch with friends, etc in the spring. ;)
The Jumpsuit
Beauty Fascination Item - Dentrifice Powder
Photos taken at the Ringling, amidst the fantastical banyan tree forest. The overall landscaping is a sight to behold, but the banyan trees are otherworldly.
Yes, here's my fascination "Item"...It was a beautiful Saturday morning. I leisurely strolled the streets of downtown, taking in all that I could. And there's plenty to feast your eyes on - vendors with homemade bath and body items, vegan foods, juices, coffees, produce and fresh flowers. Of course there's the other patrons to observe...so much to see. When I passed "good-gums", I paused. I'm out of toothpaste. Why not?
The precious woman pictured began to share her personal journey to good gum health. She was sweet, charming and had a beautiful smile. She explained how most toothpastes have glycerin, an ingredient that's apparently bad for us! Then she poured some of the dentrifice powder into her palm.
Errrrrrrrr! What in the world?! I looked at the mini-mountain of yellow-brown, grainy powder and struggled to picture cleaning my teeth with it! However, she was just too cute. I took a bottle at home with me and had fun adventures testing this out with my husband and any boy that would try it out. I laughed so hard at my husband's facial expressions. The taste is savory more than it is sweet and you think, "there's now way this is working!"
Well, I have to tell you that my teeth feel incredibly clean after I brush. Incredibly clean. I'll be sure to keep you posted on how this dentrifice powder works out for me!
Sip & Mingle Event

I'll be keeping my eyes out for the next one!
All the Swag
Every Sip & Mingle event features sponsors that either send goodies home with us or share their goodies at the event. We had sweet treats from Petals and Sugar, CBD snow cones from Super and Seed Apothecary, One Hope Wine, Tervis Tumblers, and Siesta Key Rum represented as well. (Side note: I may not drink alcohol, but I appreciate companies jumping on board with the ever growing influencer market!)
My swag bags had VIP passes from Visit Sarasota to local Sarasota Attractions (those mini-adventures I grabbed up with the boys), a travel skincare set by Victorialand Beauty, RESET organic hemp cbd, a makeup bag from The Best of Everything Boutique, and a smartphone grip by Lovehandle. Looking forward to sharing more about these great brands soon!
Did I mention they offered a mini-ukulele lesson from Music Compound?? I was all over that!
Ok, I stop here for today...I can't wait to share about the new Bavaro restaurant opening, some new headshot photos coming up and more on the blog my friends!! And if you missed it, please come see Wednesday post on my first Amazon fashion find! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love your jumpsuit. Happy weekend.

DeleteWow, you have been one busy blogger! Your Target jumpsuit looks fab (love that purple)! And the dental powder?? What in the world? That's very interesting!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, Gina! If you could see my husband's face when he's using it. So funny. Boy does it get your teeth clean though. I won't say I love the feel though. Time will tell if I get adjusted!
DeleteFirst, I love this jumpsuit, Chrissy. Of course I'm on a jumpsuit kick so I'm sure I'm biased...ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI've tried toothpaste like that before. It's different, but good. I think we get used to what we've grown up with and have a hard time with change. But there's a lot of crap in the stuff we are used to....
XOOX
Jodie
DIFFERENT is right Jodie! Oh boy! My hubby is still complaining about it. lol. And I'm glad to hear from a former dentist on the "good". Some folks fear the powder. And thank you on the jumpsuit. You're the best!
DeleteYou are always so active! Yay, for going to the Influencers event--keep us posted on how you like your jumpsuit. You have a very glam look in it!
ReplyDeleteThe jumpsuit is polyester! So hot for Florida summer. I should have listened to you. lol Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait til it cools to wear it again.
DeleteThe color of that jumpsuit is gorgeous - especially on you!!!!
ReplyDeleteTooth Powder - that's so interesting. I wonder how it doesn't scratch your enamel... hmm... going to have to look more into that because I do love a good natural product!
Thank you! And the tooth powder...I know. I ran the ingredients by my friend, who is a pediatric dentist. She approved. She said she was worried I was going to say charcoal was one of the ingredients. She's always said for me to stop using the activated charcoal - rough on the enamel. Anyway, I finally listened. lol
DeleteYou are so cute. Love the ukulele picture. I am reminded of that nut Tiny Tim from my teenage years who sang a song "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" while playing a ukulele. Which, thanks to you, I have learned how to spell!!
ReplyDeleteThe Sip and Mingle event looks wonderful. I wish there were things like that in El Paso. I wish I could find a couple more bloggers in El Paso!!
Love, love, love the jumpsuit. I just bought my first one after trying on several different versions. Actually ordered it on Loft Outlet online. It is so comfy. I am sold. Except for when I need to run...RUN...to the potty. You look so slim and sassy in yours!!
Thank you so much! And now I'm humming a new tune. ;) Also, i had to look up how to spell "ukulele" - twice! So nice to have you by the blog. You always say the sweetest things and give great feedback! Have a wonderful week!
