The LOFT Try On Adventure With The Sunday Showcase

Hello! And welcome to April, right? Today's Sunday Showcase with Ada and Kellyann is all about the LOFT. The three of us went to our local Loft stores for a little try on adventure. We thought it would be interesting to see what each of us picked to try on and feature. I haven't shopped at the LOFT for over a year so this outing was pure style research. Another great bonus was Kim at Fierce Fashion met up with me! More to come on that in another post, but in the meantime keep an eye out for her in these pictures.

The Dresses

I chose two dresses to try on. There wasn't much to choose from in my store, which is surprising this close to Easter! Anyway, the first dress was a winner on fit, but I didn't love the print on me. As for the second dress, I had high hopes for it. It's a color I don't normally buy and the perfect length. However, it turned out to be slightly too big.

Hi Kim! Kim took home that sweater top! Isn't she cute?

Shorts, Cropped Jeans, Tops
Here's the shorts I chose to feature as well as the jeans. They are both winners! The drawstring shorts are perfectly comfortable for everyday style, going to the beach, etc. The jeans are perfect for spring and also get high points for comfort. These items are going on my watch list for the next good sale!

For The Office

I loved the first two outfits, but the jumpsuit was a huge disappoinment! If you try on the jumpsuit be sure to go up one to two sizes!

Outfit 1
I loved the flutter sleeve top and these slacks are super comfortable. This would be a keeper, however I'm not sure that I'd get a lot of wear out of it in hot Florida.

Ok, now how many photos did you see Kim or parts of Kim in?? How nice to have a shopping buddy for today's adventure. So what did YOU think? What outfit is your favorite? Should I do more try on feature posts in the future? Now I can't wait to see what Kellyann and Ada tried on! It's as close as we can get to shopping together, right?

The link up is already for you! My pics from last month were Rama with Chez Rama for her fab bubble ponytail style and Anna at The Glam Adventure for her fun athleisure post! Thank you ladies for linking up!

  3. Haha, just remembered to check out your post. I wish you would have told me to get out of the way! I still love those jeans on you. I like the flutter sleeved top better in the photo than I thought I liked it in the store. I also like the tie front top better in the photo than the store, go figure. Hugs!

  7. Loved seeing your try on session! I have been searching for a lighter wash pair of jeans and the ones you tried look perfect! I bought a similar pair of olive shorts last summer and they were a favoite, so you should def snag that pair on the next sale!

  9. I am thinking this was Loft LOFT and not Loft Outlet. I was at our outlet store yesterday and saw so many things that I don't need but WANT!!! Hope those cutie shorts and great jeans go on sale because they were made for YOU. Love the office looks, too. I really like olive joggers or whatever they are called with the tie waist and the elastic cuff. Need to wear mine more often. The outlet had some really great Easter/spring dresses BOGO-free. Need to find about $200 in the couch and go back for the things I was swooning over. Your pony tail is darling! I miss the days when I could be creative with my daughters' hair. Mine was always too short.

If those shorts don't go on sale soon, girl, just splurge and get them anyway. I won't tell and they look precious on your cute figure.

  12. Really, I think it all looks great on you Chrissy! I love, loved the yellow mustard dress on you, and I wanted that in a shirt, but it sold out rightaway! The pants all look great and I love the floral tops. I am really fond of the Lou and Grey olive pants, and I may need to get those. Are they very soft? Also loved that the pink and olive combo went with the sandals you wore! :-)
