Do You Have Any Hot Pink?

I was invited to a Hot Pink Party and I ended up wearing all the colors. I tried to focus on fuchsia, however a quick search of my closet rendered nothing but a scarf and a necklace! How can this be? It would seem I did too much purging before our move. Ah well, thankfully, this "Pink Party" is all inclusive so I get to stay and spread the word - maybe today is a good day for YOU to sport hot pink!

Is hot pink in style?

Well, hot pink made another appearance on the runway back in 2018 and it continues to brighten closets across the globe. Honestly though, it always seems to be around...check out this picture of my J. Crew hot pink pants from 2013 when I first started this blog:


Alright, enough of that. Let's get to today's outfit, which is shopped 100% from my closet, with the newest item being my Pikolinos. As you already know, the get up began with a scarf. From there came the navy colored dress, which is more like a top for me. The leggings felt like a stretch, but when I put them together they "sparked joy". (Thank you Marie Kondo and thank you KellyAnn for telling me about "Tidying Up" on Netflix.)

Bracelets, a necklace and a crossbody purse, tied in more colors! Pink party?? How about a rainbow party?  I needed to get things under control, which I believed I did with my neutral colored shoes. How cute would this outfit be with a pair of tights and pink boots though? If only...

Well, there you have it. Someone suggests a color or style and I'm challenged to use a little fashion creativity. Maybe I'll put hot pink pants back on my list. Nah, I'll probably go for some shoes or a purse next time. Here's a few items to tickle your fancy - or tickle you pink. Wink, wink!

    You did hot pink your way my friend and you nailed it! Isn't Tidying up the best? Gosh, I am looking at things all the time now so differently and asking if it sparks joy! It has made saying goodbye to some of the items in my closet a breeze!
    The colorful walls in your photos are so cool! Those boots too - so cool. I am so glad you found some bits of pink because this speaks to everyone, and shows how just a little of the color can be enough. Love you girl!
