Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box for December!

It's a pampering, cold supporting, tension diffusing and all around fabulous month for Simply Earth Subscribers! After traveling home from Georgia my husband started feeling poorly, but a few days later it became unbearable - to me. Yeah. I know. Sadly, my nursing skills could use a little work. However, the boys and I completed two recipes out of December's box and they just happened to be a "Congestion Relief" roll on and a Congestion Relief vapor rub. Guess who has been laying by the diffuser smelling like an oil shop? (Side note: Be sure to scroll to the end to see Evan and Caden help me share the unboxing for this month!)
We still use Ibuprofen around here, but if we can skip the doctor we shall! That being said, let me jump on in and share some peeks into the December box. The boys and I completed our first video together and for this month, we sent the raw footage off to Simply Earth to play with. The finished video is added to the end of this post, so be sure to watch those cuties in action. Now onto some pictures. ;)

Breathe Easy Bath Salts

The recipe does not call for chocolate, but I wanted you to see what I was snacking on while "working" in the kitchen. This recipe was a matter of tossing some ingredients in a bowl and mixing them on. I packaged the salts into a jar, closed the lid and was DONE!

Vanilla Mint Lip Scrub

Now this is one that I had a good laugh out of. You see, I don't have any conventional sugar laying around. Years ago I purchased a 50 pound bag of sucanat and a 50 pound bag of honey granules, so there's been no need! However, I've learned a good lesson in chemistry with this recipe. Granulated sugar is a must. My honey granules and sucanat melded together and made a paste. So as you'll see in the pictures below, my scrub is a paste. I'll be doing that one again - with the right kind of sugar!

Well, all that's left for me to do from this month's box is the bath bomb and I can't wait. That will be a first for sure!!
