Sweater c/o Eva Trends
The temperatures dropped down into the high 40s and low 50s last week so the arrival time on this sweater couldn't be better. It also comes in red and green, but I chose black so I could wear it through the winter without feeling like I was wearing a Christmas sweater. Though the material is wool, it's soft and surprisingly doesn't itch. I didn't need a jacket while we were out playing, though I could have used a scarf to coverup the exposed skin around my neckline. However, I loved the drapey feel on the shoulders and styled the sweater with a bralette on the second go round.
Jewelry from Premier Designs
The rest of my outfit is shopped from my closet. And I had to dig around for those tights that I layered underneath my favorite distressed green jeans.
Next time I'll be sure to bring my buggy. ;)
Before moving on to the link up and what's coming in December, I simply MUST mention that Eva Trends is offering 15% off your order when you use the code CR15 and this sweater would be a great addition to your closet, especially if you live in the colder regions. I could see layering this sweater with leggings or dressing it up for sure and will attempt that once our temps drop again.
What's Coming Up In December...
Simply Earth's December Subscription Box
I LOVE the Christmas box and can't wait to share it with you! Once again I filmed a video, but this time I braved it with the boys. I'll be sharing this soon, but if you don't want to wait and need some great gift ideas, hop on over to their website. code: GRANOLAANDGRACEFREE!
In the meantime, let me say that there was more takes than I care to count, but all the laughs made it worth it. Evan said, "I don't mind because we are spending time together". This made me think about how important quality time is to these young men! Also made me want to find ways to incorporate them more into the day to day work where I can. Killing two birds with one stone??

Working On Those Traditions & CelebrationsSo this whole Power Sheets goal planner and "relationship" with the Cultivate What Matters company has inspired a new goal for now and 2019: to love my people more thoughtfully and intentionally. For this reason, I added their Celebrations Binder to my "office" and I've already started using it.
Do I think of ideas? Yup. However, I'm learning that the only way to make those things happen is to prepare, and that's where my ideas get filed to "next year" or "next time". Having a 16 year old knocked some sense out of me - time is short!
I think Christmas time is the perfect opportunity for me to practice my investment of quality time with the boys. From keeping some old traditions and adding some new ones I hope to make memories that will last, as well as make hearts that feel loved.
Home Project
In keeping with my planning mindset, I realized that my office space needs some work. This weekend I cleaned up all my files, but I want to finish off the area with a command center or some simple shelving and a new chair! It may be a lofty goal to finish in the month of December, but I'm going to try. Here's my starting point:
Ok my friends! You know I love hearing from you...What do you think of this sweater? Have you tried Simply Earth yet? Have you begun thinking about goals for 2019? Any house projects in the works??
Much love,
Chrissy
