After traveling back from our Thanksgiving visit in Georgia, I am slow to settle back in. It was a long drive on Sunday because of holiday traffic with an arrival time of about 1:00 a.m., so Monday wasn't all that productive. However, I kept my mind busy with Christmas decorating in the newly revised family room (read all about that HERE), and the afternoon was speckled with the arrival of packages. My favorite!! One of those packages contained this triple toned cardigan from Eva Trends, which is also one of the items I shared on Insta stories for reader feedback!

The boys and I went to the local library for the first time and loved it! Being the newbies that we are we still get excited about water fountains in retention ponds, Florida wildlife and the local artwork located around Sarasota. "The Open Book Gateway" structure has quotations in English, as well as Chinese and Arabic and as the sun shone through, the letters "appeared" on the walkway, which kept all three of us entertained.

After our library adventures, the boys kindly took pictures for Mom. Confession: I enjoy shopping my closet, but man it's nice to get a new addition to the collection, right?? This piece is unlike anything I own, but perfectly matched with several items - even my latest nail polish colors from Zoya! The color blocking and lightweight material give this cardigan a cascading effect, that billowed gracefully in yesterday's crazy winds.  I felt comfortable and relaxed to the point that when I traded my jeans for leggings (post Thanksgiving weight probs), the cardigan stayed on.
