I've Tried Pink, So Why Not Blue?

That's right my friends. I'm a sucker for a good sale on a comfy pair of pants that open the doors to more options in my closet. You know it all began with those pink pants that I keep posting about. They caused a color fashion itch that I could no longer ignore. The fact that there was a blue variation kept rolling around in my mind and I caved...

Get in my buggy $15 blue pants! And so they did! All that being said I'm happy to bring you the first two ways I styled these Buffalo David slacks!

In the first style, I went for my boutique find top with navy stripes and fun pops of salmon from my jewelry and shoes. Other than those pants that I keep mentioning, I shopped my closet for this get-up. That's what I love about a good staple addition to the closet. It brings new possibilities for those forgotten or neglected items; or new variations for your list of favorites, such as this top I'm wearing - definitely a favorite!``

And just in case you think I may not be chumming round Splat these days...

Quick shout out to my photographer for this photoshoot. :)

Thank you Whitney for being such an enthusiastic director and photographer!

Stye 2: Bright and Fun

Well, you may have guessed from the photo that this outfit was worn to a "Fiesta". You won't find a lot of red or yellow in my closet, but I did happen to add these fun tassel accessories this year so I improvised!! By the way, the blue strand of this necklace set was worn in the outfit above. I love pieces with more cost per wear!

It was a friend's 30th birthday and sadly, I didn't get one picture of him at the party, but here's a quick picture of him in his wife with his fabulous balloons!

Steven and Kristin

My friend, Carol, left the same time as we did,  so I had to subject her to a picture. It's in my blood now, which of course means my poor hubby was subjected to more photography. Hehe. He loves me!

Well, that's all for today my friends! I hope you're having a fabulous week so far! I can't wait to share with you some of my latest adventures in fashion and fitness!!

  3. Those blue pants are so cute on you - just like the pink ones! Wow!!!! I can hardly believe the price, I am so glad you got them. I am loving both ways you styled them, super cute with the fun stripes and salmon accents from your necklace and shoes. Then with the black top and tassel necklace - you were looking fiesta fine my friend! Did that precious little girl take all the photos from look #1? If she did she is amazing - those pictures are terrific. God bless her!
    Fabulous as always my friend!

  8. Great pants, Chrissy! You did a wonderful job with both looks! The fiesta look is so fun! Those sandals are adorable and who can resist a necklace with tassels?! I absolutely love that first look! Heels with jeans is just a timeless look! And the pop of salmon looks incredible with the light blue of the pants. Really lovely!

  9. Those pants are so cute! They were a great find. When you find something like that (and such a great deal) you just need to get multiples!

  10. We just love Costco. I haven't bought clothes there in a long time (but they have great dress shirts for men) Cute, cute, cute pants and love all the ways you styled them. I do cruise the clothes from time to time, but I don't know if I've seen that brand here. I'll be on the look out It's weird how Costco has different things in different areas of the country. Happy Thursday!!! XO

    1. I haven't tried the dress shirts for me yet. That will be next. And I'm not sure I've ever purchased pants for me. Tops probably but not pants! It is fascinating to see how each area has a different demand. I follow "I God It At Costco" on IG and she is out of Texas and they have some pretty cool stuff that our GA place does not. Happy Friday Lisa and weekend!!
