Hello! Here I am again with this linen tank from the GAP. I can't say enough about how comfortable it is. And I merely put on these print capris for a change up from my usual green jeans and white denim combos. You see, I continue the work of paring down and simplifying my wardrobe which means that I'm wearing a lot of the same pieces. However, I did keep a few textured bottoms like these capris, camo, linen joggers etc.
Also, right now as I write this post, I have one bag ready for a Good Will drop off and another bag awaiting my next trip to Clothes Mentor, in hopes to make a dollar or two. Not that I expect much, but I always flinch when I'm told $2 or $3 for a great pair of jeans. However, I haven't figured out the trick to successfully sell on Ebay, considering shipping etc. Anyone have tips they'd like to share?
Until then, the thrift store it is. Did you know some thrift stores allow you to schedule a stylist session? You fill out an online form sharing your sizing, preferences and needs and they will pick out items from their store for you to come in and try on. That is on my list for a blogging variety feature. I'll keep you posted there!
Meanwhile, I continue to put together outfits from what I have combing a lot of old with a little new. These capris come from my line of old LOFT favorites. To keep the outift casual I grabbed my pink converse and added the hat. Then I went all crazy with the necklaces, layering four different pieces in a pattern of rose gold and then silver. I wore a cami underneath my tank to keep the necklaces from falling in the "the gap" and preventing the embarrassment of "framing".
From there it was easy to pick coordinating bracelets. It's not everyday I have this much fun with what I wear. I'm glad I was able to get a few photos before the craziness of life took over.
Outfit Breakdown:
Tank: GAP/Capris: LOFT (old)/Converse: Nordstrom Rack/Purse: Clarks USA/Jewelry: Premier Designs/Fedora: Khols
Link Ups: Shelbee On The Edge, Classy Yet Trendy, Living On Cloud Nine, Elegance and Mommyhood, A Pocketful of Polkadots
Of course some of this craziness included a trip to Splat Cakes bakery where I continue to make good on my Free Cupcake a Day winnings. A new month means more cupcake choices!
Splat Cupcake Adventures Continue...
This time I chose to keep the cupcake and give CHURRO a try! If you follow me on Snapchat (granolaNgrace) or Instagram, then you may have seen my personal cupcake review. If not, let's just say if you like the combination of cinnamon, sugar and butter, you'll love this!
That's all for now my reader friends. Have a fabulous day!! :)
